The expression "political holiness" was coined by Salvadoran liberation theologian, Jon Sobrino. "Because of a new awareness of the misery and oppression of the majority of the human race, holiness can no longer be confined to the realm of personal piety, contemplation or almsgiving.... The area of political action is the right place to seek holiness." ~ Jon Sobrino. Two presentations will be followed by sharing & discernment: ways of seeking holiness through political engagement
